Students are organized in the Student Union. The Student Union represents the students’ interests concerning education and social conditions and there are student representatives on all the decision-making bodies of the university. The membership is mandatory for all students and cost about 260 SEK (2006) per term for full time studies. The building were the Student Union is located is one of the newest on the campus. You find the Student Union support center and a student's restaurant there. Each Thursday there are student parties, organized by the Student Union. During the week you can go there for having a coffee or playing billiard.
